Uninstall deleted all files that SHOULD NOT be deleted

Hi

The uninstall process of xampp 1.7.2 deleted all apache conf and databases, though I chose that it shouldn't. No other files were deleted.

Allthough, it seems that no files were removed if I use an utility such as Piriform Recuva.. What happend? How do I get em back?
