it appears that the php_hash.dll and php_mhash.dll are missing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Both hash and mhash are built into PHP now and so there is no need of Dynamic Link Libraries php_hash.dll or php_mhash.dll

Go here to see that they are built in and enabled in your version of XAMPP's PHP:
