Xampp Directory Protection won't become secure

Postby olivia » 24. August 2009 10:26

I already installed and made some test sites, and the last thing I'm trying to figure out is how to boost security (is this something you can only do during installation?)

under http://localhost/security/
I've gotten the "The MySQL admin user root has no longer no password" to become SECURE, but the "These XAMPP pages are accessible by network for everyone" section is stubborn and remains UNSECURE even after I enter in a user name and password under http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php (does it matter what I type in there?). How do I make sure no one is hacking me right now???
