Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I have sucesfully installed XAMPP 1.7.2 on my PC. I've entered htdocs folder which is the document root and I'm not able to open the given index.php and not able to open some page 1.php (created by me). It says file download- open or save this file and after open or save it gaves the same question. I've tried to open the php files with IE 7. Please help

After I tried to save a php file in htdocs it said that htdocs folder is unavailable. What I have to do? Can somebody give me a link of tutorial for installing and configuring php mysql and apache

You have installed a webserver. So please open documents with "http://localhost/filename.php" in your webbrowser.
