Change the Index look?

Maybe this is more meant for Apache alone, but If I have a folder with no Index file in it, so that someone can see the directory of the files I have in there, is there a way to change the way that directory looks? Right now it just looks like :
Index of /xampp
Name Last modified Size Description
Can I change the CSS or the HTML of the directory so that for all future directories created it will use the template I give it?
