Help! Apache server saying already in use when first downloa

Hi, I am very new to this, and have been trying to Downlaod XAMPP for MySQL and Apache, so I can then downlaod Joomla. This is the 4th time I have installed and uninstalled and Apache keeps coming up as already in use and it wont run on the XAMPP control panel.

If I try and run Apache it says stared Port 80.

Going through localhost doesnt bring up anything do I presume nothing worked at all.

I am using Windows Vista. If anyone could help me that would be great as I have no idea what I am doing

Skype running? Close it! If not, run xampp-portcheck.exe (you will find it in the xampp folder)
