Can Netbook run mySQL
Posted: 06. July 2009 12:02I have a qnap 109pro where i gave up using it for intranet lan server because mySQL was to slow. They recomend using intel processor types for that (think it runs on ARM)
Question is can i run MySQL on a netbook with win XP or is linux better/faster or do i have to wait on dualcore ATOM comming soom ?
Want to run XAMPP for development only, but its hard to develop if simple mySQL request takes 10+sec and larger forever.
