allow access from LAN

I'm busy doing a protype with my files in htdocs.
all is working fine with http://localhost/folder/index.php

but i want my boss to be able to access the files on the LAN from his machine
http://myip/folder/index.php doesn't work.

is this doable and if so what do I need to do to make it work?

Then the IP is wrong our you are using a firewall.

Regarding XAMPP this is working out of the box.
