Want to change the XAMPP Locahost to something else

Hi Guys.

I am a total newbie..so forgive me for sounding dim on most occaisons.
At the moment i currently run a coldfusion server, the xampp server and iis on my laptop.

My Problem is i think there is a conflict with using xampp and iis.
For me to access sites on
coldfusion i use http://localhost:8500/
xampp i use http://localhost/
Now i need to use the same for iis, but this seems to stop the sites from appearing as websites.

Is there anyway i can change either the iis or xampp localhost?
Maybe http://xampp/ or even put it on another port?

You can change the Apache or the IIS port. (you see the manual for each server).
