APACHE and mysql on booting my pc i find that they have both shutdown and i have to go to xampp-control and restart them again. any reseason why???

In the services apache and MySQL start-up type was selected manual, if you changed to automatic it will work.
apache control panel -> SCM -> apache -> right click properties -> start-up type -> select automatic

I cant find "apache control panel " only "XAMPP control panel application" if thats the one click "SCM" but then i havent got "apache"
help
ive got:- in services
.NET RUNTIME....
Acronis scheduler....
Alerter....
Application layer....
Application Management....
ASP.NET State....
Automatic Update....
Background Intelligent transfer....
or is there something else i havent seen???
