Hi,

I am a newbie and want to knw if smarty is used with php5 or is it usable. Actually, i am following an ebook and got instructions to use smarty. And I don knw if the ebook follows the latest php version i.e. php5. Moreover, the link to the smarty website is outdated in the ebook. Does php5 use any other template engine instead of smarty? Please advice on this confusion!

PHP is not using any template engine. But you can use any template engine with PHP.
