Upgrading from old version

Postby tsutton » 26. May 2009 15:05

What is the best way to upgrade from v1.5.5 to the latest version without losing any of the settings/changes?

I've had a look at the FAQ - http://www.apachefriends.org/en/faq-xampp-windows.html - but could not find anything useful.

Thanks,

Tony

If you do an advanced search for upgrade in the XAMPP for Windows forum you will see a post I made explaining an upgrade method for xampplite that you can adapt for your purpose.

Further down the search results Izzy has a similar method of upgrading that you can also use to adapt for upgrading and preserving your old data, files and settings.
