I've got an error message on starting apache.
My box is windows 7 x64 and I installed xampp for windows 1.7 and upgraded to 1.7.1.

My problem is when I press "start" button of apache on xampp control panel, I got nothingg.

So I opened "services.msc", andclick "start" of apache 2.2 and got this error message:

Diese Eingabeforderung nicht waehrend des Running beenden
Bitte erst bei einem gewollten Shutdown schliessen
Please close this command only for Shutdown
Apache 2 is starting ...
httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 11 of K:/xampp/apache/conf/

Is anybody know about this please help me.

In your xampp\apache\conf\httpd.conf file locate this section:
Code: Select all
### SVN from XAMPP devel package ###
#LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/
#LoadModule authz_svn_module modules/

Make sure that it looks like this with both modules commented out.

Only uncomment these lines if you have downloaded the XAMPP for Windows Development Package and copied the modules specified from the modules folder in the Dev. Package into the modules folder of your 1.7.1 version.

You should only uncomment those modules that you know you require not the whole lot.

Please let me know back if this tip fixes your issue.
