Hi,
I have recently installed XAMPP 1.7.1, but i got the below error when i access phpadmin from http://localhost/xampp
Error
MySQL said:
#2003 - The server is not responding
Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed.

I am sure i have started the apache and mysql modules from XAMPP Control Panel Application, which are running fine. I got the same error what i specified above when i click mysql - Admin.. button from the control panel too.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Could you please paste here the contents of xampp\phpMyAdmin\config-inc.php
