Installation folder for Joomla! ?

Everyone,

I installed XAMPP on my Windows XP pc, running everything locally.I've created a database in mysql. I've downloaded the Joomla files. Now, I've been trying to find the correct folder to install the Joomla files to the root folder. Anyone have an idea?

Sure. The readme_en.txt or the XAMPP for Windows homepage.

You can also look in phpinfo() and search for "DOCUMENT_ROOT" (Should be "\xampp\htdocs").
