Mdaemon via Apache?

Hi all I have the following question for you: I have serveral websites running on my own webserver.
Beside these websites I run a Alt N Mdaemon Mail server which is now running on its own webserver, listening to port 3000.
I would like to run Mdaemon on Apache en also listening to port 80. How can I do this without conflicting with the other websites. I read something about Proxy Redirect, but than Apache gives an error.
Can someone tell me step by step how I can realize this?
