oscommerce xampp no openssl

osCommerce installation pops up when I do not have openssl, I do not know why because xampp has openssl, I read on http://w3it.com/blog/?p=7 needs to change the php.ini file but I do not have such a file. Do you know how to do in order to read my openssl in osCommerce

When requesting support always include the installed XAMPP version and the Windows version you are using.


Go to http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php in your browser and look for this line:
Loaded Configuration File

It will tell you the php.ini file being used and it's location.

Open the php.ini file in your text editor and find this line:
;extension=php_openssl.dll
Uncomment it so it looks like this:
extension=php_openssl.dll

Save the file and restart Apache.

That should fix it.

Then you should ask your questions on the oscommerce web site as editing the php.ini file, saving it and restarting Apache is all that can be done in XAMPP.

--> OpenSSL is already part of the XAMPP package.

So you mean you have created some certificates. (and not you have installed OpenSSL)?
(I hope you are knowing what you are doing...)

If you open a phpinfo(), can you see something about OpenSSL?
