Problems looking for solutions.

Ok lets start. I have installed xampp for the first time when I had problems connecting to mysql, so I removed and reinstalled, the problem seemed to leave but it didn't.
In order for mysql to work I need to run the batch file, :S. Both apache and mysql are installed as a service but none of them put running in the xcp. I would like some people to access my files but it isn't possible if they can't connect. I used dyndns in order to help out with my dynamic ip and like I said it used to work.

I am very frustrated at the moment and I would liketo fix this immediately. Thank you.

Try this:
go to start>Run...
Type
sc delete mysql
Click
OK

Next go to xampp\mysql folder.
Double click on mysql_installservice.bat file.

Now go to XCP (XAMPP Control Panel) and check if MySQL has a tick in the Svc box and the green running indicator.



You can do the same for Apache - Type sc delete apache2.2 and in the apache folder apache_installservice.bat file is used.

I recieve this for the mysql, and no it doesn't show the green running.

Did you read the readme file in the xampp directory?

For windows it's only pssible to install services from the bat-file inside the apache and msql directories.
Don't use the ones in the main xampp directory.
