After installing xampp 1.7.0, both IE and Firefox is unable to access any web page except localhost. I notice this when i did an ipconfig:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : localdomain
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.181.128
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
------------
When i remember before, the default gateway used to be 192.168.1.1 and there was no specific dns.. Anyhelp to restore net access to my pc?

IMHO perhaps you need to do some reading and learning about how to configure your network because as you say XAMPP works as intended by going to localhost and so your issue is with how you configured your network.

XAMPP can't and therefore does not change any network settings, which is even more of a reason to do some network configuration reading and learning.
