Problem accessing Xampp sites from mac browsers

This is not a Xampp problem, it's a Mac compatibility with Xampp for Windows problem, but someone here may be able to help.

My Xampp installation works fine. I run it only on a local network at home for web site development. I've never had a problem with it until now.

I'm migrating to Mac platform slowly, and no browser on the Mac can see the server on the network.

Mac OSX 10.5.5.

Does anyone know if there is a setting in the OSX that needs to be changed?
