Go to http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php and see what the Loaded Configuration File is.schilders wrote:I installed XAMPP on a Windows 2000 server that previously had PHP and MySQL installed on it. I uninistalled MySQL and my old PHP files exist in c:\php. XAMPP installed and its control panel states that Apache and MySQL are running.
What error message are you receiving when trying to go to Security in the Welcome Page menu?schilders wrote:Also, when I browse http://localhost/security/index.php, I receive Page Cannot be Displayed. The security check states that all items are Unsecure except for Filezilla FTP Password was changed.
The php.ini file that XAMPP uses is in C:\xampp\apache\bin folder and so you should rename the php.ini file in the C:\php folder or remove the path for php.ini in the Environment Variable - your other php installation is in conflict with the php implementation in XAMPP.schilders wrote:Loaded Configuration File = c:\php\php.ini
