login and password for phpmyadmin

Do anyone know how to have a very simple login password page in order
to access to the following page

http://localhost/phpmyadmin


Please give hints steps by steps if possible.

When i tried this
http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php to setup a simple login and password
to block the //localhost/phpmyadmin

It returns
Access forbidden!
You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Don't use that address use http://localhost/security instead - see your other posts for a possible Access forbidden! fix.
