If Svc checkbox for Apache is checked, I get: "ERROR: Apache service not started [-1]"
If Svc checkbox is unchecked, I get: "Apache started [Port 80]"; however Apache never starts.
It's a fresh install of Windows Vista Ultimate. I deactivated updates and firewall to prevent any blocking.
xampp-portcheck says Apache (HTTP) port 80 status is SYSTEM.
It's very urgent, I need apache to work on a site that's due for next friday.
