Hi,

I am new to Xampp.
I have vista on my system. And I have installed xampp win32 for windows.I have changed the httd.conf to set the document root to my local server.But whenever I try to access localserver from the browser one popup come with the message "Apache server stopped working". And when I close this dialogue I got the "Connection Interrupted" in browser page.
in apache/log/error.log I am getting these lines-

An when I check the xampp control i see apache is running but mysql is not running. And If I click to start the mysql service i get the error "Mysql service is not started [-1]" . And mysqld.exe is present in the taskmanager.

please anyone can help?

What error message is given back when you try and start Apache using the apache_start.bat file?
