How do you know - any error messages?

What version of XAMPP?

Is the Svc box checked next to FileZilla in the XCP after you reboot?

First make sure there is a tick in the Svc boxes next to FileZilla and you answered all the boxes that pop up except the one to Start, answer no to that one so there will be no green running indication.

If there is a green running showing then click on Stop so that the green Running goes out.

Next click on the SCM.. button and look for FileZilla Server FTP server then right click on it and select Properties and make sure that Automatic is visible in the Startup type box - click OK.
Next click on Start in the left column under the FileZilla Server FTP sever heading.

The Start link should be replaced by Stop the service and Restart the service.

Close the SCM... window and you should see a tick in the Svc box and a green running message.

Post back if that works and we will then go to MySQL which is slightly different procedure.

That's good we are progressing.

Now MySQL is a little different to get working when it chucks a wobbly.

In XCP make sure if possible that MySQL is Stopped and there is no tick in the Svc box.

If this is not possible then we proceed anyway.

Now go to xampp folder and double click on mysql_stop.bat file if you are having trouble stopping MySQL in the XCP.

Next go to xampp\mysql and double click on the mysql_uninstallservice.bat file

Check in XCP that there is no tick in the box and the green running is not showing.

Now go back to xampp\mysql and double click on mysql_installservice.bat file.

Next go to the XCP and click on the SCM.. button and check that mysql is there in the list and it says it is started in the Status column.

Right click on mysql and check that Automatic is visible like you did for FileZilla.

Now close the Services window.

Check in XCP that there is a tick in the SVC box and the green running is showing.

Now that should fix MySQL.

Post back please if you now have it all working as you like.

Good luck and fingers crossed. :)
