Run a "mysql.exe --help" and find out, which options and command line parameters to supply, what you didnt. You cannot run mysql.exe standalone without any parameters.

With your keyboard? ...

(BTW: Don't doubleclick the exe in explorer. Use the "Run" button in your start menu.)
