something wrong with xampp 1.7.0

Hi,
I installed Xampp 1.7.0 on windows server 2003 SP2 by using 7-z file. I started Apache + MySQL, PHP forum worked well. But Apache would shutdown automaticly in several minutes without any messages. Then I disabled Apache, and started IIS instead of Apache, it works normally.
When I enable eaccelerator in PHP.ini, IIS started, but forum can't be run, there are many errors in system log, "module error ... 5.2.8.8".
There are over 1,200 online user on my forum, it is very slow now, so I have to stop and start MySQL again and again. What will do with my.cnf and php.ini to improve performance? There is 4G memory on the machine.

Any suggestions? Help is appreciated.
