Others can't access my website

how do I make it so people outside of my internal network can access my site?
I tried searching on the forum but it kept rejecting all the words i used saying they were too common.
I also tried googling and got a ton of videos on how to turn your computer into a web server in under 10 minutes using xampp. but it didn't work.

Yes, the forum search is broken after the "Upgrade" to phpbb3.

You haven't give us much to go on like the details of what you have tried already.
