can't install XAMPP

hi every body,
i tried to install XAMPP, at the end of installation it gave me this error:
ports 80 or 443 (SSL) already in use installation apache2.2 failed.
i don't know what to do!!!

You have another server running on those ports.

Usually the Windows server IIS - Internet Information Server, which can be disabled in your Windows Control Panel - then try and install again.

You could just download the 7Zip version and extract the files to a folder like C:\xampp then run the C:\xampp\xampp-portcheck.exe to find out what is running on port 80 and 443.

Or just ignore the Installation errors and after installation look for the xampp-portcheck.exe and run that file, again to see what is running on the ports that XAMPP requires exclusively.
