Hi I was hoping for some help as I have searched the web in vain. I have XAMPP installed on a PC on my home network and when I go to:
http://192.168.0.5/xampp/index.php I am presented with a login box from Internet Explorer. I have a password and username which I enter and this takes me to the phpmyadmin page. My problem is that I want to change the username and password that I login through IE but I can't find where to??

Thanks for your reply but which section is it the XAMMP Directory Protection (.htaccess) or in the Mysql section?
There is nothing in either at the moment so where is the username and password coming from?[/img]

Well, your problem is a password prompt while you access the XAMPP directory with your browser.
So it must be the "XAMMP Directory Protection (.htaccess)".
