Stop Apache / MySQL from starting Automatically

Postby porle » 04. October 2008 15:53

Hi All,

I have been running XAMPP for a few months and have the control panel, Apache and MySQL all installed as servies. When i boot my computer it seems that Apache and MySQL start automatically, even when the XAMPP control panel hasnt been open.

This may well be how a sevice is supposed to behave, however i wish to control the start / stop of Apache and MySQL via the XAMPP control panel, and NOT have them start automatically, can anyone offer some advice? I know i have done this in the past but i just cant remember.

Thanks for reading, any help is appreciated!

You can change the services from "automatic" to "manual" with the Windows service manager.
