Removing xampp registry entries

Postby patroclas » 29. September 2008 22:10

Hi
I installed xampp with the windows installer and then removed it to return to using wampp, which I re-installed.
Now, when trying to acess database tables (eg via phpMyAdmin) in a new database created since uninstalling zampp I get an error message from MySql
Code: Select all
#1 - Can't create/write to file 'C:\xampp\tmp\#sql_e98_0.MYI' (Errcode: 2)

None of the xampp files remain and I have been unable to find any settings in any ini or config files. Is there a setting in Windows registry that may be causing this, and if so, where? Or what other help can anyone offer?

Thanks

OK - I found a my.ini file hiding in the Wndows folder with the xampp settings in it. All working now that has been deleted
