Any clue how? I've searched for days and ended up asking on the forum.

I've tried changing it in several places. no-go.

I don't quite understand.
Well heres some info:
i'm using XAMP with MySql
and I'm trying to change "max_connections" variable.
Right now the default is 100.
I need to raise it or my website will continue to crash with the error
"Too many connections"

For MySQL you can adjust the settings in the file "my.cnf" (\xampp\mysql\bin).

I don't see my.cnf in there
unless it's that "my" file.
I can't open it with wordpad/notepad.
It's a "Speed Dial" Program
