xampp mysql stat problem

Hi
I installed xampp to run apache and mysql on my pc for my programming
But now I cannot start mysql. can you tell me why this may happen?

Are you really thinking we can help you without any Information?

What and how did you install XAMPP? There are two different XAMPP-Packages and 3 different installation types you can choose between! Which one did you choose?

What error Message do you get? Did you try to start MySQL directly with the mysql_start.bat in the XAMPP-Directory?
