Can't access xampp opening page any more

Hello
I'm new to XAMPP and need some help, please.
I've installed xampp 1.6.7 and I could start localhost and got the opening page for xampp. Everything worked OK. But suddenly I got two errors when I put localhost (or 127.0.0.1) in my browser.
Warning: file_get_contents(lang.tmp) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\index.php on line 2
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\index.php:2) in C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\index.php on line 4

Does anybody know what's wrong??
How can I fix the problem(s)?
Apache and mysql have both been started, according to the xampp control panel. I'm on Win xp sp2.

Did you delete the .index.php in the xampp folder or even deleted the xampp folder?
