MySQL service problem

Hi,

I have installed XAMPP on the partition E. But I was forced to move everything on D. I made the proper changes. But the service wants to start with the config files on the e partition.

How can I change this behaviour? What file should I change or which command should I use?

Any advice will be very appreciated.

Better do this: Stop mysql / apache services if running, install XAMPP in the new location and copy the content of following folders in the new location:
...xampp\htdocs\ and ...xampp\mysql\data\
For me it worked. You can then run the security script in the new installation just to be sure !
