I had issues with installing xampp on vista. But I figure that out (turn off user accouunt controls) now when I go to
http://localhost/ I see the xampp "cover page" page just like I should.
I had issues with un zipping the joolma download files, which i was directed by someone cool to try 7zip / tar.
I think it worked because there are hundreds of files now when I open my joolma15 file. (Before there were only 4)
I thought I was on the right track finally, (after a week of torment)
Here's the problem now... When I go to http://localhost/joomla15 I don't see anything but
Object not found!

Error 404
How can that be/What the heck could the problem be now??? If I can see the right page when I go to http://localhost/ doesn't that mean xampp is working correctly, or could I have the worng version??
Did I forget to add or delete something on the joomla end?
I'm as new as it gets to all this! Just got my first computer a couple weeks ago!
