Sample code to start writing mod_perl with XAMPP on Windows

I have just installed mod_perl add on to my XAMPP on windows. I would like to learn programming in mod_perl.
Could you please send me or post some simple sample code for mod_perl?
My goal is to look at sample code, learn how to write mod_perl application, and build my own mod_perl applications from there. Please post the instructions regarding where to copy the sample code under XAMPP and any changes I have to do for conf files.
