Will I still need to forward the ports from my router?

You always need to use port forwarding. If you have that set up, you can access your website using http://78.144.116.91/epicfx/test.html. Then, if you want an actual name, like http://www.mydomain.com/epicfx/test.html, then you need DynDNS.
