I have installed xampp and placed an installation of wordpress into a folder within htdocs. Externally i can see all html files and if i create a simple php file that has <?php echo"hello"; ?> that also works fine.

but any of the wordpress php files are not visible and display page cannot be found error.

Internally everything works fine..!

Please help
