Running Win Vista 32, only one snag

I used the installer version on my Windows Vista machine and things went okay until after restart. I got a .dll error (continuously) and localhost wouldn't come up.
So after a little research, I went to the Startup Folder, deleted the mysql/php/apache? I fogot the actual name of it) shortcut there and restarted. Everything has been ducky ever since!!
