chmode for xampp

Postby Dolin » 05. April 2008 19:21

Hi I am trying to change the write access for my folder but when I open the ftp and right click the folder it says the server does not allow change of file permissions. How do I change the folder access to be able to write data for xampp?

Yea I am trying to upload a file into a folder but the file doesn't seem to bea able to be written to the folder. I am using apache as my server and Filezilla as my FTP. Does anybody has any experience changing the folder permissions? I haven't changed any xampp settings yet.

- Error message from your ftp client?
- Error message from your FileZilla Server log?
- The user you are using for the connection?

I am using apache as my server and Filezilla as my FTP.

This is not a local installation of XAMPP?

Maybe the FTP user account you have is not allowed to change the folder's permissions. That's a matter for the server administrators.

That's a naughty link in your sig Dolin. :!:
