apache_installservice.bat
Posted: 02. April 2008 19:22I have just successfully installed XAMPP 1.4.15 on my PC (Windows XP Professional SP1) (needed the older versions for compatibility with my ISP) but when trying to run the apache_installservice.bat script I get the following error:
"The system can not find the path specified"
when executing the 'net start Apache2' command
If anyone has a suggestion on what to correct I would appreciate it.
I was able to run the mysql_installservice.bat script successfully
Also, I had to include %cd%\ in the original 'bin\apache -k install' command to point to the correct directory
