Cannot load MySQL extension, please check PHP Configuration

Hey

I have used XAMPP for a long time, but then i tried to change the password for mysql and now i get this error:

"cannot load MySQL extension, please check PHP Configuration".

I tried to uninstall XAMPP and install it again, but same error.

Whats wrong?

Your PHP is using a wrong "php.ini".
