How to Access local server for your home network

Postby p3ssi0n » 20. February 2008 12:30

I have installed XAMPP on WIn XP MCE. And everything is running fine.
Its works on port 8080

Now i want computers on my homenetwork to acesss my localserver.

I do not have a static IP.

Computers on my Network can access my shared files and the intenet connection is shared as well .

Please guide me how to make this work.I do want to install XAMPP on each of my computer. It will not serve the purpose.

Best Regards,
Passion

"hostname" is the computer name of your WIn XP MCE box. You must also allow access to port 8080 in your firewall.
