There is an alternative launcher-controller available at www.zedfiles.com/DTX/ ...that you can use. It will start both Apache and MySQL and then minimize to the tray. It does not start the services... but be sure and check that the services are not already running.

You can use this controller on a USB removable drive too.

thanks
but not start automatically the server...

now i have found a solution, trayit_4_6_5_1
that minimize in tray the windows, and remember the option...
i launch this prg, and xampp_start.exe into minimized windows
in this metod the servers start, and i see only the icon in trayicon...

but if is possible to start it whitout the esternal prg.... ;)

I am not sure what you mean ... other than putting a shortcut into a startup folder so that XAMPP runs without services ... the concept behind the DTX-launcher is that you can create a shortcut for it and it will launch XAMPP then minimize to tray... then when it is closed, it will shut down Apache and MySQL... it can be configured so that they are started manually from the tray icon too... it was developed specifically for XAMPP by the same person who did the standard controller (NAT32).
