Mercury breaks Apache?

Postby Hendrick » 12. February 2008 15:58

I've been using XAMPP for a while now, however today was the first time I really ever played around with Mercury.

So I enable it, and when I visit a page, I'm asked to download the file. This happens on every PHP file, and I assume the same is true for all the other types.

One time out of the numerous times I tried, I was able to have both working at the same time.

I also found out that if I start Mercury, then enable Apache, for a second or two, Apache has the green Running block next to it. But after a second, it turns itself off.

My version of XAMPP is 2.5, according to the control panel application. localhost says XAMPP is 1.6.4, so I'm not sure which one is correct.

Thanks for any help.
