NewBi trying to learn Xampp...help needed plz

I'm new to all these Apache and Mysql thing...Can anyone please tell me how to connect and to interact with MySQL in Xampp? like mysql in cmd command thing...

What cmd thingee have you tried already and what are you trying to do that accessing by http://localhost/phpmyadmin can't do - which for a new user is easiest, as it uses a GUI Graphical User Interface and is the preferred method on Windows, which is an OS GUI.
