Hello,
I just set up a XAMPP server, secured it and uploaded a website but I couldn't find any information on how to make your website accesible from the outside (internet). I searched for it in the forums and with google. Could someone please explain it to me? I am behind a router as well so if anyone nows something about port forwarding?

The only obstacle I had was the port forwarding on my router. All you need to do is to get to the settings of your router (usually by going to 192.168.0.1 or whatever your router's ip is) and in there somewhere is the port forwarding settings. Simply forward port 80 and any others you want to the ip of your server and you should be set to go.

If that doesn't work, the only other thing would be if your ISP blocks you from hosting a website in which case the only thing i can think of to circumvent it is to get a domain that forwards people over a different port to your ip (not really sure if you can actually do this though).

Anyway, port forwarding should be all you need ;-)
