phpMyAdmin Access Denied

Good Evening,
I am having a problem getting into phpMyAdmin. I get the error:
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

I have no idea how to get into phpMyAdmin and I have not been able to find anything on the site to get into it.

in you xampp dir there is phpmyadmin .. that file is there.. open it and enter your mysql name and pass (search for root its def.)
